Privacy policy

The lesson request form asks for your name, email address and phone number, the lesson format you want, your neighborhood or city, your court preference, your playing level, the days and times that usually work, whether you want recurring lessons and how many per week, and anything you add in the notes field.

All of it is used for one purpose: replying to you and setting up a session that fits.

The contact form asks for your name, email address and your message. A hidden field is included to catch automated spam submissions; real visitors never see or fill it.

When an enquiry is submitted, the site also records which website referred you (for example a search engine, Instagram or Yelp), any campaign tag in the link you clicked, and the page you first landed on.

This is stored with the enquiry so Poom can see which channels bring real players. It is not linked to any advertising profile and it is not shared with anyone.

The site runs on Lovable Cloud hosting, and enquiries are stored in its managed database on servers in the United States. Notification and confirmation emails are delivered by the site's transactional email provider. These providers process the data only to operate the service.

Email and phone conversations that follow sit in Poom's own Gmail account and phone, like any other business correspondence.

Submitting a lesson request triggers one confirmation email to you so you have a record of what you asked for. Poom then replies personally. There is no marketing list, no newsletter and no automated follow-up sequence. Every automated email carries an unsubscribe link.

This site sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. A small entry in your browser's session storage remembers how you arrived, for the length of that visit only, so a single enquiry is not counted twice. Closing the tab clears it.

Standard server logs record requests to the site, including IP address and browser type, for security and troubleshooting. Aggregate search performance data is available through Google Search Console, which reports totals and never identifies individuals.

Enquiries that do not turn into lessons are deleted within 24 months. Records relating to players who have taken lessons are kept while the coaching relationship is active and for up to three years afterwards, so scheduling and payment questions can be answered. Server logs roll off within 90 days.

Lessons for players under 18 are booked by a parent or guardian, who supplies the child's first name, age or level and any medical detail that matters on court. This is used only to coach safely. Nothing about a junior player is published anywhere without separate written permission, as described on the minors and liability page. Children do not create accounts and are not asked for information directly through this site.

You can ask at any time for a copy of what is held about you, for a correction, or for deletion. Email or call using the details below and it will be handled, normally within a few days and always within 45 days.

California residents have rights under the CCPA and CPRA to know what personal information is collected, to have it deleted, to correct it and to opt out of its sale or sharing. Poom's Tennis Academy does not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. Exercising any of these rights will never affect the service you receive.

The site is served over HTTPS and stored enquiries are protected by database access rules that keep them private to the business. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive medical or financial detail through the forms.

This policy is updated when the site changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
